Evidence of Noah’s Sons Divided the Earth

A study from the Book of Jubilees and Genesis: how the earth was divided among Noah’s sons, what was written down for each of them, and how the dominion given to Adam passed to Noah and his sons — and where that leaves us, with the kingdoms of Daniel 2 falling and the Kingdom of the Most High to come.

   The division, written down.

   Jubilees 5 leads into the flood and chapter 6. In chapter 8, Shem, Ham, and Japheth divide the earth into three parts, secretly, and tell only their father. Noah then calls his sons and their families and instructs each to take a writing from him that clearly states the lots. Shem is given the middle of the earth as an inheritance for himself and his lineage — which we read as Africa and its surrounding regions. Japheth is given the north, the Tartary region: modern Russia, Asia, and Europe. Ham is given the south. The chapter notes that Japheth’s region is cold, Ham’s is hot, and Shem’s is even-tempered. The sons of the three are introduced in Jasher 7.

   The dominion, carried over.

   uSoNINI NaNINI gave us dominion over the earth and all within it — decreed to Adam. That promise and decree were carried over to Noah and his sons, and His covenant was established with them.

   And uSomandla blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.

   Japheth in the tents of Shem.

   The Most High enlarges Japheth, and he dwells in the tents of Shem. Japheth was given the increase to expand and rule what we know as Europe and Asia and the surrounding regions — however, Japheth as a people would always be dependent on Shem.

   uSomandla shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

   The fall of the kingdoms, and the Kingdom to come.

   Daniel 2 begins to speak of the fall of these kingdoms — Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, the image and its parts. Then verses 44 and 45 speak of the Most High’s heavenly kingdom, which is to come after the fall of them all. This is where we are now.

   And in the days of these kings shall uSomandla of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
