Samba: Are You Ready? — Check-In & Reflection
Not new instruction — a check of our footing. Readiness isn’t a feeling you wait to arrive; it’s a practice, built in private and proven in the ordinary. So this morning the assembly speaks: where did uSoNINI NaNINI meet you this week?

The oil.
What we’d been doing in the dark, when nobody was checking. Readiness was never about believing right.
They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

The talent.
What we did with what we’d been handed — buried it, or put it to work.
And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

The whole thing came down to something as plain as who we fed, who we visited, who we didn’t walk past.

Closing
That’s what today was for — not new instruction, but checking our footing, and celebrating whatever uSoNINI NaNINI has already done since we last gathered. He isn’t asking any of us for perfect. He’s asking for honest. So whatever came up today — conviction, encouragement, testimony, or an honest “I haven’t thought about it since” — carry that into the week ahead. Let it keep working in you.
